New Christian made RAPTURE MOVIE coming out!!!

Wow, I love a good movie, but haven't been able to watch too many lately because most of them are just plain scandalous nature. Well, I just saw today were a new movie is opening in Houston this weekend called "Final: The Rapture" that i is being billed as the "scariest Christian movie of the decade". Usually I would think twice about going to see something called a "scary Christian film", but being that this is supposed to be about the Great Tribulation period that begins right after the Rapture - it had better be extremely scary (if it is to be accurate and effective!).

Opening showings will be limited, so I will have to keep an eye out to see when it will make it to Atlanta. Or maybe they will release it to video, so I can see it on Redbox or PayPerView. However I see it, Im really looking forward to it!

Follow this link to visit the films website for showing dates and to view a really cool trailer.

Keep looking up!

Are we at the END of the END TIMES?

I know that this isn't the type of issue that I have posted about before, but this is something that has just recently been on my mind a lot, so I wanted to post a little something about it.

Has anyone besides me noticed that a lot of things of "Biblical" proportion have been occurring lately? For instance, did you notice last month in Canada when dozens of dead birds fell like "raindrops" from the sky for no reason?  (http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/story/2013/08/07/mb-dead-birds-king-dufferin-winnipeg.html).

And did you see that just today the news is reporting that 220,000 pounds of dead fish were found in China? (http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-202_162-57601319/220000-pounds-of-poisoned-dead-fish-scooped-up-in-pollution-plagued-china/).

Strange occurrences of this type were prophesied by the Prophet Zephaniah in the Bible (1:1-3): "The word of the LORD that came to Zephaniah son of Cushi son of Gedaliah son of Amariah son of Hezekiah, in the days of King Josiah son of Amon of Judah. I will utterly sweep away everything from the face of the earth, says the LORD. I will sweep away humans and animals; I will sweep away the birds of the air and the fish of the sea. I will make the wicked stumble. I will cut off humanity from the face of the earth, says the LORD. (NRSV)"

And of course, who could ignore that fact that today the U.S. government is debating whether or not we should attack Syria for killing their own people with chemical weapons. Although this is a terrible and heinous act, I usually would not pay a whole lot of attention to political issues going on in other countries (just not usually my thing), but this one is different. Did you realize that this war with Syria was prophesied in the Bible thousands of years ago?

"Behold, Damascus will cease to be a city and will become a heap of ruins," says Isaiah 17:1,
And there are other scriptures that say that this will then lead to the involvement of all of the world's major countries? Basically, we are talking WW3. I don't want to get too scary, but take a look at the prophecy in Psalm 83.
I may go more into this at a later time, but basically I just wanted to say to those of you who like me, don't usually pay attention to world events – WAKE UP! Something biblical is going on in the world right now, and we all really need to pay attention, and pray about it.

Hey everyone, I know that I haven't written a blog post on a while - God had sort of taken to a different level of prayer, study and sanctification, so all of my time and effort has been there recently.

This has been on my mind though, so I just wanted to at least post a word of encouragement. This is one  of the scriptures that I have been focusing on lately:

"For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him."

LOOK UP and be of good cheer everyone!  Your salvation drawers near!!! :)
